Senior Software Engineer

Are you a passionate Software Engineer with a strong drive for coding and product innovation? We’re seeking a Software Engineer to join our Backend team at VisBook. At VisBook, you’ll be part of a close-knit development squad within a medium-sized company that values the energy and agility of a startup culture.
Key responsibilities
In this role, you’ll work alongside skilled colleagues to build and maintain robust backend solutions that support a variety of APIs and services. Your contributions will span the entire development lifecycle - from early-stage design discussions to hands-on implementation - helping shape scalable, high-performance systems that serve a broad range of business needs. In addition to development, the backend team also takes ownership of server operations and infrastructure reliability, ensuring our platforms remain stable and efficient. We’re looking for someone who brings both technical insight and collaborative energy to a team that values quality, ownership, and a supportive working environment.
Your profile
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development, with a deep passion for continuous improvement and product development
- Proven experience with API development—designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and well-documented APIs
- Expertise in C#, modern .NET, EntityFramework, SQL and gRPC
- Experience with Azure Cloud Platform
- Strong collaboration skills, with a genuine desire to share knowledge and inspire others
- A proactive and curious mindset, always ready to tackle challenges and bring fresh ideas to the table
- Optional but valued experience:

- Accommodation booking systems and hospitality technology
- Linux systems
- .NET Aspire
- Virtualization and containerization technologies (e.g., VMware, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
