IT Administrator
We are seeking an experienced IT Administrator to manage our internal IT, networking and ops systems and applications. This role involves administering and maintaining these systems, managing user accounts, and ensuring security protocols are in place. You will be responsible for procuring and provisioning hardware such as laptops, overseeing office network infrastructure, videoconferencing and telephony in our head office location (Gothenburg), and providing technical support to employees in all our office locations. The successful candidate will also manage software licenses, ensure compliance with data protection regulations, and continuously evaluate and improve our IT infrastructure. Strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to IT management are essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities
System Administration and Management
- Administer and maintain key internal systems including Slack, SharePoint, HiBob, Office 365, Azure, Entra, WithSecure, and other Ops and Finance systems.
- Monitor system performance, implement updates, and optimize configurations to ensure smooth operation.
- Manage user accounts, access controls, and permissions across all platforms, including onboarding and offboarding of staff.
- Implement and maintain security protocols to protect company data and systems.
Hardware Procurement and Provisioning
- Assess hardware needs and manage the procurement process for laptops and other IT equipment.
- Configure and set up new hardware according to company standards and user requirements.
- Maintain an inventory of IT assets and manage the lifecycle of hardware devices.
Network and Cloud Infrastructure
- Oversee and maintain the company's office network infrastructure including physical network and WiFi.
- Monitor network performance and security, resolving issues promptly.
- Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions for all internal systems.
User Support and Training
- Provide technical support to employees, resolving IT-related issues efficiently.
- Develop and conduct training sessions for staff on new software or hardware implementations.
- Create and maintain documentation for IT processes and user guides.
Security and Compliance
- Participate in the company InfoSec committee.
- Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations and industry standards.
- Support regular security audits and risk assessments.
Software License Management
- Manage software licenses and subscriptions, ensuring compliance and cost-effectiveness.
- Evaluate and recommend new software solutions as needed.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated with the latest IT trends and technologies relevant to the company's needs.
- Propose and implement improvements to IT infrastructure and processes.
Vendor Management
- Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
- Negotiate contracts and service level agreements for IT services and products.
